Epilogue

P
hilosopher, humanitarian, author, artist, educator and administrator—L. Ron Hubbard has served in many ways. In turn, he is quite literally viewed by millions worldwide as mankind’s greatest friend: by those now literate and by those who have used his work to regain their dignity, moral strength and self-respect.

Today, what Mr. Hubbard contributed in the name of helping his fellow man is contained in the 40 million words of recorded lectures, books and other writings that comprise the totality of Dianetics and Scientology. If this profile has barely touched upon those subjects, he has nonetheless ensured they are available to all who would reach for them. Although this road to freedom demands some commitment, he never expected one to walk it blindly or without inspection. But rather, as he explained, “This is the track of knowing how to know. Travel it and see.”
